Delete your BrokerBud account

• Email hello@brokerbud.in from the email address you sign in to BrokerBud with. Use the subject “Delete my BrokerBud account” and name the agency you work with.
• We confirm the request with you, and tell your agency’s Owner, because your account is part of the agency’s team. We complete the deletion within 30 days and write to you when it is done.
• If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm from the one you sign in with, so nobody can delete an account that is not theirs.

If you have left the agency, its Owner can also turn off your sign-in at once, from your page under Team in the app. That stops all access to the agency’s data. It does not delete your details: ask us for that as above.

• Your sign-in: the email address and the password.
• Your name, which is replaced by “Former member”.
• The push-notification tokens of the phones you used BrokerBud on.
• Any invitation or password code still waiting to be used.
• The diagnostic records your app sent when something failed in it.

• The work you recorded for the agency (notes, follow-ups, site visits, deals and calls) is part of the agency’s records about its customers. It stays with the agency, shown as recorded by a former member, for as long as the agency uses BrokerBud.
• Voice recordings you made are deleted at the end of the agency’s retention period, 90 days by default, like every other recording.
• The agency’s history and our security log keep a record that the account existed and what it did, without your name or email address, so the agency’s records stay accountable.
• Our nightly encrypted backups are kept for 14 days, so your details leave them within 14 days of the deletion.

If you are an agency’s customer, you do not have a BrokerBud account. Ask the agency, or write to hello@brokerbud.in, to see, correct or delete what is held about you.

If an agency stops using BrokerBud, its Owner can ask for a copy of the agency’s data and for all of it to be deleted. The privacy notice says more about what we hold and for how long.
